Matthew McConaughey’s son recently experienced some mishaps while surfing, leaving him with visible marks on his body. The actor proudly displayed his teenager’s injuries on Instagram, referring to them as “souvenirs” from his surfing adventures.

In the photos, Levi, 14, can be seen beside his neon green surfboard, with his back turned to the camera. He has several large white bandages on his sun-kissed skin, as well as a smaller pink plaster in the center of his back. Despite the bruises on display, Matthew, 53, doesn’t seem concerned, simply captioning the photo with “Surf souvenirs.”

Fans responded to the post, expressing a range of reactions. Some were concerned about Levi’s injuries, while others took a lighthearted approach, echoing Matthew’s nonchalant attitude. One user jokingly commented, “believe that the correct term is ‘surfenirs’…,” while another said, “We call them nature’s tattoos, brotha.

This is awesome.” A third mentioned their own youthful memories of getting bumps, scrapes, and bruises, emphasizing their fondness for such experiences. And a fourth noticed a gender difference in the comments, with fathers cheering Levi on and mothers showing concern.

Levi is Matthew McConaughey’s oldest child, and he also has two other children, Vida (13) and Livingston (10), with his wife Camila Alves McConaughey. Speaking of Camila, she recently had a scary experience when her plane suddenly dropped 4,000 feet. On Instagram, she shared a video capturing the terrifying moments of turbulence that lasted for 45 minutes, resulting in several passengers sustaining injuries. Describing the situation as “CHAOS,” she mentioned that everything was flying everywhere inside the aircraft.

Reports indicated that the plane was struck by lightning, and one passenger’s spouse commented on Twitter that people who didn’t have their seat belts fastened were mostly affected since the turbulence caught them off guard without a seat belt sign.
